About

Kristina Faji creates mix media and patterns on paper, canvas and silk. Her work is based on formal associations of the duality between fragility & strength and awkwardness & beauty. Secondly, she finds that facial expressions (or "tells") reveals an inherent humour that echoes our own human vulnerabilities.

Her poetic ideas are crafted through tactile layers of paint, oil pastels and prismacolors. Her works are notable for their blend of colors and finer detailing to create and sculptural essence. Kristina currently lives and works in Austin, Texas.
